    Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!

    Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.

    This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.

    Please continue to share details on the filter and search functionality you’d like to see in Planner!

    Having more progress options that we are able to customize would be helpful. The "In Progress" has several stages and it would be helpful to break that down. Currently the only way to do so is by creating different buckets. So we have to maintain the progress and the bucket. If we could have user defined progress we could use the buckets for something else that isn't related to progress since we could just use that for a filter.

    You can now choose up to 25 colored labels per task in Planner and Planner tasks in Tasks in Teams. More labels allows for greater flexibility when organizing tasks. Use labels to flag risks, signal delays, help fine tune task prioritization, clarify accountabilities, or categorize tasks around a theme spanning multiple buckets. Anything you can think of that requires color-coding and tagging tasks, labels can help.

    More labels has been a top customer ask and we’re happy to make it available now to all organizations. Try it out in the mobile and web/desktop versions of Planner and Tasks in Teams.

    1) How do you use labels to organize your work? Departments, project types, categories of projects, etc.
    2) How many labels do you need? 100
    3) Would you like an ability to customize colors? If so, how would you use it? Either custom or different colors available.
    4) How would you like labels to appear on task cards? How they are now is fine.
    5) Is there anything else would you like to add in regards to labels? It could be helpful to have two separate groups of labels since there is currently no other customized fields available to use. So I could have one set of labels for department. And another set of labels for project or issue grouping.
