I was searching under the development categories in this forum hoping to find anything that addresses the flaw of a task being deleted by any member, never being able to recover it, and not being able to find out who did it.

It's nowhere in your pipeline MS! not under the categories of planned. scheduled, or even thinking about it!

I still can't believe the lack of interest from MS to address this major and critical flaw!

Please tell us if you are ever planning on addressing this issue or save us time and have us look for another tool, as the tool is useless if this issue is not fixed.

Either apply a restriction, recycle bin, or a backup option.

This is very critical to have, other wise we will look for another more effective solution. As an IT PMO head in a telecom company, there is no way that I will introduce and use a tool that will allow users to delete tasks without restriction, or the least, have project manager be notified that the task was deleted!

Major flaw Microsoft. Would appreciate an immediate fix to this issue.

    Hi everyone,

We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams of all sizes collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.

The new Microsoft Project has been redesigned. You can see your tasks on a Gantt chart (“Timeline”) view, a Board view (similar to Planner’s), and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users. I encourage you to look at the links below and the attached GIF for a sneak peak.

With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.
