Hello! We wanted to provide an update to our status below. As we announced in our previous status update, our initial integration with To Do was our first step in a journey of bringing all your Microsoft Task Management services closer together, including Outlook and Planner. Through To Do, you can see your Planner tasks within Outlook on the Web.

However, the continuing feedback on this post makes it clear that there is a desire for more work to be done to improve this experience. We want to make sure this feedback and votes aren’t getting lost by being added to this existing post.

Instead, we’d like to make sure you have a forum to express these continuing pain points / desires, and a way to vote for which ones you’d like us to work on first (and how we should prioritize those asks against the many other great asks…

First of all. Thanks for all the amazing work the Planner team has been doing on continuing to upgrade their product. I agree with an earlier post though. It would be amazing to have the Outlook integration not rely on scores of individual ical subscriptions. Additionally, I would prefer to manage this using groups. If the plan is nested under a group, just enable the group calendar in Outlook to see ALL the plans from that group. That way, by adding members to a group I've already activated their involvement in all associated nested plans.

I agree, this is a critical component for our organization also. It needs to integrate easier with Outlook too; as outlook is currently the only way to view the schedules on a mobile app. Our business is field based. I need to be able to book work from the field as requests roll in in real time. Each "plan" for us represents a customers asset that we work on. I would prefer to see the outlook calender based on groups instead of teams as most of our plans are nested under one "group".
