We have completed the checklist feature as a solution for this.

This is quite a poor implementation. I used Asana for my business before joining my new team.
With this solution, how do I do the following:
Create a subtask assigned to a certain person?
Track completion of subtasks for metrics?
Set a due date on subtask items?
Use flow to automate from subtask completion or create subtasks?
Other than not being able to assign tasks to someone without them having access to the entire project, this is our biggest frustration at the moment.
