    Hi everyone,

We have updated our Copy Plan experience – please try it out today!

This improvement includes the ability to choose an existing group or team to copy the plan into (or choose to create a new group). You’ll also be able to customize what gets copied over. Attachments can only be copied over into existing groups/teams.

You can get more details here – https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/planner-blog/expanding-the-copy-plan-and-filtering-features-based-on-your/ba-p/1483491

As an update, our colleagues in To-Do have delivered the ability to create tasks directly from Outlook.com!

To-Do has rolled out the Tasks Pane for Outlook.com’s Mail & Calendar, and is also the new Tasks for Outlook.com! With Planner’s & To-Do’s integration, we hope that To-Do will become a central hub for all of your personal tasks, and that switching to Planner to collaborate with others is seamless!

Here’s more information on the To-Do’s task experience within Outlook: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/using-microsoft-to-do-with-outlook-com-416865a1-0c4d-4e69-af6f-f98ffce3747c

Dear Planner users, Planner is looking to learn your experience with managing “personal tasks”. The feedback you provide would help the product to optimize the features toward your needs, and would benefit other users who use the product like you.

We’d very much appreciate if you could take 7-10 mins to fill out this survey. Thank you!

Why can't there be a "Planner-Lite" version that leverages the Outlook/To Do task management non-SharePoint/One Drive framework? Or how about a full Planner integration "kanban view" within To Do?

I chose to leverage my work o365 account for my personal productivity system with Planner as the central hub for tasks and projects due to all of the great connections across the apps I use daily. Recently my work moved to shut down SharePoint/One Drive access for personal devices and now I've lost a tremendous amount of mobility and flexibility with maintaining and leveraging my system. With this level of security I lost the ability to even access the mobile app entirely.

To Do and Outlook tasks seem unhindered and the Planner -> To Do integration still allows me to access my Planner tasks within To Do (mark them complete and check off check lists) which is great! I've always used the To Do app for this daily to-do list integration of my tasks. However, I prefer Planner's Kanban board to To Do's lists for overall maintenance and flexibility of my tasks and projects across buckets and plans.

This limit has been removed – users can now have thousands of tasks assigned to them.

We’re continuing work around performance and actively monitoring how many users hit this limit. So far, we only have seen users with unchecked Flows/automated task assignments hitting this limit.

We are planning on publishing formal documentation around all of our Planner limits once we’ve completed more performance work, but don’t have anything to share at this time.

    Cheers,
    The Planner Team

    Hello all,

As an update, we’ve paused work on this item to pursue wrapping up work on a few other high priority asks.

We appreciate your patience and feedback on this, and hope to resume work on this soon. Please keep voting and letting us know that you’d like to see in a Planner UWP app!

    Cheers,

    The Planner Team

We’ll send you updates on this idea

Hello! Since this is one of our top asks from users (and has been for quite a while), we wanted to provide a quick update here. As mentioned in our last update, our team has been heads down shipping some recent integrations, such as the Tasks app in teams and Tasks in Docs (both of which have initial versions rolling out now!).

Recurring tasks (and the other top UserVoice asks) are still high on our backlog. I’ll provide updates here as this feature gets closer to being shipped! We also may use this forum to reach out to you, our engaged users, with design questions we have—so stay tuned if you’d like to help us bring you the best version of recurring tasks!

In the meantime, it’s great to see so much active engagement here. We continue to iterate on our initial designs as we get more feedback from users,…
