We’ll send you updates on this idea

Hello! Since this is one of our top asks from users (and has been for quite a while), we wanted to provide a quick update here. As mentioned in our last update, our team has been heads down shipping some recent integrations, such as the Tasks app in teams and Tasks in Docs (both of which have initial versions rolling out now!).

Recurring tasks (and the other top UserVoice asks) are still high on our backlog. I’ll provide updates here as this feature gets closer to being shipped! We also may use this forum to reach out to you, our engaged users, with design questions we have—so stay tuned if you’d like to help us bring you the best version of recurring tasks!

In the meantime, it’s great to see so much active engagement here. We continue to iterate on our initial designs as we get more feedback from users,…

Anyone know how to raise this better.

Vote for "Respond to users in uservoice" suggestion is all I can think off...

They need a recurring task to drop in to user voice once a week.

We would appreciate better communication, even if negative so we can,,ahem, plan which package to use, you have left me in limbo.

I really see this as huge for any type of planning and clearly others too.

Our business has this need to add checklists for missed items. (check voicemail, check info mailbox, supplies check for one. Accounting... Raise reoccurring invoices, check utilities costs etc). The work around of using flow gets us 90pc there but fails to have a checklist in a task and therefore I am hitting flow limits.
Please please pleeeeease address vocally and enter two way correspondence with us patiently waiting. Otherwise what's the point of community voting when it gets trumped by internal priorities.

I remember googles motto, do the heavy lifting for the user. Ie don't make me have to learn how to use flow, configure excel. spreadsheet and code the routine to pull a task. The company alignment is productivity right? This is slowing me down. You've heard the feedback loud and clear but where is the action. *mic drop

Scenario - we run a small business and need to re-occur tasks on a daily/weekly/yearly so that we can standardise our daily procedures. Can be simple as vacuum the carpet weekly, or review utility bills costs once a year.

Please can we have an update !

Use case - Setting up re-occuring tasks for teams to perform and tick of against. EG Dailys for our shop - cash up, check frontage, check inbound emails etc etc. Monthly's - chase late payments, etc
Yearly's check services supplied are best value.

I would ideally like a grid with 52 days to ensure each activity is done and any gaps.

    Thank you.

Hello! We wanted to provide an update to our status below. As we announced in our previous status update, our initial integration with To Do was our first step in a journey of bringing all your Microsoft Task Management services closer together, including Outlook and Planner. Through To Do, you can see your Planner tasks within Outlook on the Web.

However, the continuing feedback on this post makes it clear that there is a desire for more work to be done to improve this experience. We want to make sure this feedback and votes aren’t getting lost by being added to this existing post.

Instead, we’d like to make sure you have a forum to express these continuing pain points / desires, and a way to vote for which ones you’d like us to work on first (and how we should prioritize those asks against the many other great asks…

    Hi everyone,

We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams of all sizes collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.

The new Microsoft Project has been redesigned. You can see your tasks on a Gantt chart (“Timeline”) view, a Board view (similar to Planner’s), and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users. I encourage you to look at the links below and the attached GIF for a sneak peak.

With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.
