Dear Planner users, Planner is looking to learn your experience with managing “personal tasks”. The feedback you provide would help the product to optimize the features toward your needs, and would benefit other users who use the product like you.
We’d very much appreciate if you could take 7-10 mins to fill out this survey. Thank you!

We currently don’t have any updates on this item, but it is planned and moving up on our backlog. Thank you for your feedback and patience!

My team will be moving to Jira soon if this is not implemented.
That functionality, along the inability to tag coworkers in onenote will likely drive us away.

This is an often complained about feature. We are looking at switching tools because we cannot do this! It has been a year since the last update. Truly, how hard is this? If it could tie to a notification in microsoft teams that would be even better!

Thanks for sharing your feedback.
We would like to hear more about how you would utilize this view. If you have a particular scenario or set of teammates for which you’d like to view tasks for, please share below!

As a manager this would be useful. The only way I am able to view the entire workload of one of my staff is to look at the "planner/todo" view with them in teams. It would be nice to be able to see that view for someone without needing them with them to see what their workload across multiple projects is.

This is very much needed. We run multiple projects with engineers, and technologists moving across multiple projects. It is very challenging for us to evaluate the work load of an individual when looking at multiple projects.

I do not understand how the planner team is struggling to understand this task. Right now you only have visibility of one plan at a time. We used to have multiple channels, and multiple teams. However due to the lack of visibility across tasks we had to consolidate tasks in a less than ideal fashion to make it easier for project managers to see the visibility of workload distribution. Right now if you have multiple planners in different channels and teams it is impossible to look at what people have available time without needing to go through multiple planners to get a feel.
It would be nice for project managers, and department managers, and even for individuals to see their tasks across all plans to evaluate how much they are committed to or assigned to work on eventually.

Hello! Since this is one of our top asks from users (and has been for quite a while), we wanted to provide a quick update here. As mentioned in our last update, our team has been heads down shipping some recent integrations, such as the Tasks app in teams and Tasks in Docs (both of which have initial versions rolling out now!).
Recurring tasks (and the other top UserVoice asks) are still high on our backlog. I’ll provide updates here as this feature gets closer to being shipped! We also may use this forum to reach out to you, our engaged users, with design questions we have—so stay tuned if you’d like to help us bring you the best version of recurring tasks!
In the meantime, it’s great to see so much active engagement here. We continue to iterate on our initial designs as we get more feedback from users,…

We could really use this. We like using planner to guage general employee workload, so this has not been working out great for the employee's whose time is largely consuming by recurring tasks.

This needs to be implemented. We are looking at moving to Jira because of the lack of this functionality

Thank you for the feedback!
As an update, we’d like to pursue improvements to the checklist functionality in Planner, but don’t have any near-term plans.

Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for your feedback and sharing how you use labels. We’ve been working on improving our labels experience, and will continue to do so. With that, we are working on increasing the number of labels that you can use in Planner!

This is absolutely needed. The lack of this ability significantly reduces the functionality of planner as you cannot engage staff, or anyone that has not previously commented in a discussion on the task.
