Currently the thing holding my team from switching over to Planner from task lists is the ability to overview multiple plans in one place. This is a must-have feature for managers. I'm currently looking into using a flow or graph to sync a sp list with plans. The SP list should basically plunged in to be just a different view, but that also support multiple plans.
As an update, we’ve paused work on this item to pursue wrapping up work on a few other high priority asks.
We appreciate your patience and feedback on this, and hope to resume work on this soon. Please keep voting and letting us know that you’d like to see in a Planner UWP app!

Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!
Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.
This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.
Please continue to share details on the filter and search functionality you’d like to see in Planner!

Thank you for your feedback on recurring tasks.
We’ve completed our initial designs (thanks a lot to your scenarios/details!) and are waiting for this to move it’s way up our backlog. We should have a scheduling update in November when work on three BIG initiatives wraps up. Stay tuned!

Thank you so much for your patience! The wait is almost over. We are currently working on improvements to the copy plan experience to allow users to create their own templates to meet their organizations scenarios.
