I agree with needing the ability to make Monday the first day of the week. We work weekends and I need to be able to see how tasks stack up together on Saturday and Sunday of the same weekend.

Beyond the iCalendar feed, we will continue to explore our options for adding tasks to Outlook Calendar automatically. We would love to hear more of your thoughts on the following:
-What information from tasks would you like to carry over to Outlook Calendar?
-How many different plans would you like to view on your Outlook Calendar?
-Any specific scenarios or examples of how this would fit into your workflow

    Cheers,
    The Planner Team

My opinion is that we should be able to sync either individual plans or My Tasks (to get everything) shown on the Outlook calendar. Then we could compare task calendars side by side, or merged with our meeting calendar. And if we could drag tasks around from day to day, or even hour to hour we could plan all tasks and meetings for a given week in a single view. But the updates would have to translate from Outlook calendar back to Planner.

I need this function! I manage a team of Engineers and I need the ability to see their entire workload. I don’t want to put every single one of their assignments in the project schedule. That would be way too much information and there are items that the whole organization doesn’t need to see. I want each Engineer to plan out their assignments for all projects and then show me that plan on the schedule view. Ideally they can easily show me last week, this week, next week in 15 minutes. Then I can give them feedback about how to correct the prioritization and target dates so they can stay on top of what is really important all the time.

    Hello!

We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.

Why To-Do and not Outlook tasks?
We are integrating with To-Do because Outlook tasks is being replaced with the To-Do app. This experience has already shipped for Outlook Web users, and the To-Do team is working on bringing this to Outlook Desktop apps as well.

Today, you can view and edit Planner tasks you’ve been assigned in To-Do’s new Assigned to me list. This is available on to-do.office.com and To-Do’s Windows, Android, and iOS apps.

Here are more details on this integration: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Planner-Blog/Planner-and-To-Do-integration-bringing-you-a-more-cohesive-task/ba-p/553485

Our work in this area is not done, and we’re relying on you to help us decide what’s next! This thread has grown to encompass a lot of different ideas and pain points, so we’d love to break it out to help us prioritize and dive deeper into user…

Yes, drag and drop for setting the order throughout the day/week would be extremely helpful!

Yes! I've been wanting this forever! A schedule view that shows the existing meeting schedule, and allow you to add in tasks around the meetings.

    Hi everyone,

We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams of all sizes collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.

The new Microsoft Project has been redesigned. You can see your tasks on a Gantt chart (“Timeline”) view, a Board view (similar to Planner’s), and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users. I encourage you to look at the links below and the attached GIF for a sneak peak.

With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.
