Hi everyone,
We have updated our Copy Plan experience – please try it out today!
This improvement includes the ability to choose an existing group or team to copy the plan into (or choose to create a new group). You’ll also be able to customize what gets copied over. Attachments can only be copied over into existing groups/teams.
You can get more details here – https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/planner-blog/expanding-the-copy-plan-and-filtering-features-based-on-your/ba-p/1483491

If remember there was the plan name just as a header before, simultaneously it was a link to the plan. I really miss that feature nowadays. I got tasks with the same task in multiple plans and it's hard to distinguish those on the first glimpse.
Also, maybe it touches that topic, introduce plan names for chart web parts in SharePoint Online.

We’d love to hear more about the following:
1. When would you delete or archive a plan?
2. How long would you like it to be accessible?Feel free to include any specific scenarios where archiving a plan would be useful.
We appreciate your feedback and look forward to reading through your comments!
Cheers,

1. I would delete a plan if a project is cancelled, or just obsolete
2. I would always archive a completed plan/project instead of deleting it and make it accessible by every member for research till it's deleted (see 1) -

Hi everyone!
I’d like to better understand the ask for creating plans from Microsoft Flow. What scenarios/flows would you create with this action?
Thank you!

Hi everyone,
We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.
We’ve brought the Planner board view to the new Project! Along with this, you can see your tasks on a Timeline view, and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users.
With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.

Thanks everyone for your patience, I encourage you to check out the new Project, and even start a trial – see the attached GIF…

I am surprised all the ideas to an useful handling of the start date don't have many votes.

I want to invite everybody to vote for this lacking feature. I consider it mandatory! What is the use of a start date for tasks at all? There isn't any view to sort tasks by start date, it should be possible to sort tasks assigned tasks by start date. If the time to finish a task is more than one week the task is simply shown as a future task!
I have plenty of tasks in the future since I usually need to inquire information first or due to dependencies to other branches. Anyway, the "My Task" to Outlook calendar option is slightly helpful, although it shows the period of a task (expected processing time) it doesn't display the bucket or plan name :-(.Some kind of reminder or to stay consistent a view option by start date should be developed.

Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!
Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.
This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.
Please continue to share details on the filter and search functionality you’d like to see in Planner!
Thanks,

Hello! Since this is one of our top asks from users (and has been for quite a while), we wanted to provide a quick update here. As mentioned in our last update, our team has been heads down shipping some recent integrations, such as the Tasks app in teams and Tasks in Docs (both of which have initial versions rolling out now!).
Recurring tasks (and the other top UserVoice asks) are still high on our backlog. I’ll provide updates here as this feature gets closer to being shipped! We also may use this forum to reach out to you, our engaged users, with design questions we have—so stay tuned if you’d like to help us bring you the best version of recurring tasks!
In the meantime, it’s great to see so much active engagement here. We continue to iterate on our initial designs as we get more feedback from users,…

As an update, our colleagues in To-Do have delivered the ability to create tasks directly from Outlook.com!
To-Do has rolled out the Tasks Pane for Outlook.com’s Mail & Calendar, and is also the new Tasks for Outlook.com! With Planner’s & To-Do’s integration, we hope that To-Do will become a central hub for all of your personal tasks, and that switching to Planner to collaborate with others is seamless!

Hello! We wanted to provide an update to our status below. As we announced in our previous status update, our initial integration with To Do was our first step in a journey of bringing all your Microsoft Task Management services closer together, including Outlook and Planner. Through To Do, you can see your Planner tasks within Outlook on the Web.
However, the continuing feedback on this post makes it clear that there is a desire for more work to be done to improve this experience. We want to make sure this feedback and votes aren’t getting lost by being added to this existing post.
Instead, we’d like to make sure you have a forum to express these continuing pain points / desires, and a way to vote for which ones you’d like us to work on first (and how we should prioritize those asks against the many other great asks…

It would be neat if copying a plan to an existing group wouldn't require the permission to create Teams/Groups. In our company the permission to create groups/teams is deactivated, the management doesn't wish possible cluttering.
Please consider to separate copying a plan to an existing group from the required permission to create a new team/group
