Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!
Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.
This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.
Please continue to share details on the filter and search functionality you’d like to see in Planner!

I can't see anything on this in the Roadmap.... https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Planner
I really hope we see this this year. Planner works pretty well for us but a Search function would make it much more user-friendly.

Thanks for this suggestion - I avoid using the 'Favourite' function as the tiles are so weirdly distracting when I am just trying to find a particular plan.

As an update, since we’ve still been seeing issues around date formatting, so we’re pursuing another fix that should help: If you’re using Planner within Teams, we will default to using the same language/local as Teams.
If you’re seeing this issue persist outside of Teams and your language/locale is set properly for your Office account, please let us know in the comments below!

I want to add my support to this request... as others have said, it is annoying as it seems like you should already be able to do this and so you hunt around to try to find out where to change it. Another comment mentions changing the URL - this post provides more detail on that workaround: https://www.adamfowlerit.com/2018/07/how-to-change-the-microsoft-planner-date-format/

Thank you for your patience. We have updated our Copy Plan experience – please try it out today!
This improvement will include the ability to choose an existing group or team to copy the plan into (or choose to create a new group). You’ll also be able to customize what gets copied over. Attachments can only be copied over into existing groups.
