Hello! We wanted to provide an update to our status below. As we announced in our previous status update, our initial integration with To Do was our first step in a journey of bringing all your Microsoft Task Management services closer together, including Outlook and Planner. Through To Do, you can see your Planner tasks within Outlook on the Web.
However, the continuing feedback on this post makes it clear that there is a desire for more work to be done to improve this experience. We want to make sure this feedback and votes aren’t getting lost by being added to this existing post.
Instead, we’d like to make sure you have a forum to express these continuing pain points / desires, and a way to vote for which ones you’d like us to work on first (and how we should prioritize those asks against the many other great asks…

We’d love to hear more about the following:
1. When would you delete or archive a plan?
2. How long would you like it to be accessible?Feel free to include any specific scenarios where archiving a plan would be useful.
We appreciate your feedback and look forward to reading through your comments!
Cheers,

We’d love to hear more about the following:
1. When would you delete or archive a plan? When a plan is completed or cancelled, important that the information is kept available for future reference or template usage.
2. How long would you like it to be accessible? Until deleted by admin level so historical searches can be completed by anyone available within the plan.
3. Anything else? YES! Ability to hide / archive a bucket within a plan

How is this not a feature / option within Planner?
Dashboard gets quiet cluttered quickly, an archive option is a must have feature!

Thank you for the feedback!
As an update, we’d like to pursue improvements to the checklist functionality in Planner, but don’t have any near-term plans.
If you’d like to vote on task dependencies/linking/referencing, please head over here: https://planner.uservoice.com/forums/330525/suggestions/13976094
We will keep you updated when there are any changes. Keep the votes coming and comments coming!

Ability to match the Agile Project Planning with sub tasks under a main task within a category bucket.
Ensure that each task and sub task is identifiable with a reference number so it can be searched.
Separate start and end dates.
Apply task and sub task hours to complete
Assign to different people
View status not started, in progress and completed. With a summary of sub tasks outstanding etc from within the main task.
Add testing / QA as a status for development purposes or make it easy to move these into different category buckets.Mitch supported this idea ·
Update on this please. Currently trying to manage all of these apps, Planner, Teams, Outlook is VERY messy and not productive at all.
Simply have planner tasks land within tasks on outlook with the start and due dates with the description and check list would be great. Marking in progress or complete within Outlook Tasks to then sync back to planner.
