We’re in the process of finalizing designs for a Planner add-in for Outlook. From the add-in, users will be able to create tasks for Planner without having to leave their inbox. The email subject and body will autofill as the task title and description, respectively, and users will have the ability to set plan, bucket and assignees . We appreciate your feedback and patience and look forward to this first step in what we hope to be a greater integration with Outlook!

Yes, please!
And please also enable drag and drop of an email from Outlook to attach it to a task (and/or to create a new task based on the email).

Yes, please! Attaching an email to a task currently is way too many steps... double click email to open and get access to "save as" menu, then save the email somewhere, then open the task in Planner, then add attachment, then find the email you just saved, then delete the email so it doesn't clutter wherever you saved it. Yuck.

This would be great! If it could somehow link back to the email in Outlook, that'd be nice, too.
Would also be nice to just drag and drop an email as an attachment to an existing task!

Yes, please! Ideally enable drag and drop so I can drag an email from Outlook (desktop or web) into planner. Either drop it into a bucket to create a new task, or drop it on a task to add it as an attachment.
Ideally this should link back to the original email in Outlook to be able to quickly navigate back and see latest info.
Would also be nice to be able to copy an email (ctrl-c) and then paste it into a task as an attachment -- this might be easier for many users than drag+drop.
