    Hi everyone,

Thanks for your patience! Since our last update, we’ve released a few features to address the feedback around notifications.

We’ve heard loud and clear that comment notification emails should go to only users who are relevant to a given task. Therefore, we’re excited to announce we’ve updated the integration between Planner and Groups so that users following the group associated to the Planner plan will no longer receive a group email in their personal inbox when comments are made for tasks they have never commented on before. Group emails notifications for all task comments in a plan are still sent to the group mailbox. We believe this behavior should ensure comment notification emails are scoped to a more relevant audience of those who have previously commented on the task instead of being sent to all members of the plan.

Additionally, we’ve added more context to the comment notifications…

Microsoft's mission statement is "to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more", yet the way this thread has been completely ignored for 1.5 years must be one of the most disrespectful examples I have seen of violating such a mission statement. It flies completely in the face of what the company stands for and of all the users that have to now plead for the company to fix its product.

The amount of clear feedback received vs. the complete radio silence in return is so ridiculous, that I'm wondering if this Thread is a Planner Task assigned to the Product Manager, and all our comments are comments on that Task...

For all Corporate Clients that have a Microsoft Account Manager, I can only recommend raising your concern through that channel, since this Comment function is clearly not working.

Being a bit smart with URLs in checklist items will go a long was in my opinion:

If the Checklist item is a URL to anothe Planner Task:

    1. deference it to show the Task Title instead of a long URL

    2. make it clickable

The current iPhone app has a very important bug: on Editing the description of a task, there is no scroll bar to be able to view a complete, long description.

This is true also when attempting to select and drag the delection downwards, or when writing s task from the iPhone to beging with.

This is a serious limitation to using the tool and being Agile.
