I thought I was doing something wrong when I couldn't find the permissions to prevent users from editing tasks. I agree - the integrity of this planner is seriously compromised without permission settings.

This limit has been removed – users can now have thousands of tasks assigned to them.

We’re continuing work around performance and actively monitoring how many users hit this limit. So far, we only have seen users with unchecked Flows/automated task assignments hitting this limit.

We are planning on publishing formal documentation around all of our Planner limits once we’ve completed more performance work, but don’t have anything to share at this time.

    Cheers,
    The Planner Team

There should be unlimited tasks. I intend to use planner as a historical record, so I don't want to delete old tasks. I want to be able to research and check back on tasks for years to come.

Thank you for sharing your feedback!

We would like to learn more about how you utilize labels, specifically:

    1) How do you use labels to organize your work?
    2) How many labels do you need?
    3) Would you like an ability to customize colors? If so, how would you use it?
    4) How would you like labels to appear on task cards?
    5) Is there anything else would you like to add in regards to labels?

    Cheers,
    The Planner Team

I want the color coding to show on the calendar too. So, if a label is applied to a scheduled task, then that task should be that color on the calendar - or at least have the option. For my team, It is helpful to get a quick visual of the types of tasks that are scheduled. This provides a visual cue for them to prepare the necessary materials.
