Thanks for all the feedback! We’ve just launched push notifications in our latest app update. Users should now see a push notification when a task is assigned to them. We’re looking to add more notification types in future updates, so let us know in the comments if there are specific types of notifications you’d like to see!

We create a bucket for each work order. We have 100+ work orders in progress. When we create a new one we have to scroll all the way to the right and then as its the most recent we have to move it screen by screen to the left as there is no screen scrolling. Hugely frustrating.
The ability to hide and archive are both essential to us.

In addition to delivering the ability to copy tasks (within and across plans), we’re now working on a feature to copy an entire plan. You can find updates and discussion for that topic here: https://planner.uservoice.com/forums/330525/suggestions/14744172
Regarding task templates in particular, we’d love to hear more about what you have in mind. If there’s a particular use or scenario in which you would find a task template handy – let us know below!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your patience! Since our last update, we’ve released a few features to address the feedback around notifications.
We’ve heard loud and clear that comment notification emails should go to only users who are relevant to a given task. Therefore, we’re excited to announce we’ve updated the integration between Planner and Groups so that users following the group associated to the Planner plan will no longer receive a group email in their personal inbox when comments are made for tasks they have never commented on before. Group emails notifications for all task comments in a plan are still sent to the group mailbox. We believe this behavior should ensure comment notification emails are scoped to a more relevant audience of those who have previously commented on the task instead of being sent to all members of the plan.
Additionally, we’ve added more context to the comment notifications…

As an update, we’re in the final phases of providing the option to copy a plan. We’re working on wrapping up the finishing touches, then we’ll be testing this feature thoroughly so it’s ready for everyone. Hello!
Thank you for your feedback on this subject. As an update, our integration with To-Do is still in development. We’ve made great progress towards this, and are excited to work with To-Do towards a more cohesive task ecosystem.
In parallel, To-Do is working on it’s integration with Outlook to become a hub for all your personal tasks.

When you have repetitive tasks that existing in multiple buckets the schedule does not allow the user to identify which task belongs to which bucket. Its incredibly time consuming to have to click on every task to see which bucket it belongs to. Unless this is fixed soon we will have to stop using planner.
