Agreed. The ability to have sub-tasks, that fall under the main task in a bucket, allowing for a) the creation of due dates as well as b) assigning subtasks to users.
This would be very useful. -

This would be incredibly useful. It's exceptionally distracting to sift through a boards when you have a large number of tasks.
While the visual of boards is helpful, it would be incredible helpful to have a backup view, much like Asana's, with a simple list and indentations for subtasks.

With due date options in the Filter menu, and the ability to group tasks by due date category, we’re hoping that this will help Planner users find and organize upcoming dates and deadlines.
We understand there is still an ask for sorting tasks within an existing grouping, please continue to use this thread to share feedback on this.

!! You can now create a new plan within an existing group!!
Once you open the “New Plan” dialog just select the link to add to an existing group. Your new plan will then be added to that group, leveraging the existing group infrastructure.
