The current Planner notifications for comments on tasks make no sense.
If I want to ask someone a question within a task or if I want to comment something important, people assigned to the task will not see my comment unless they have previously commented on the task.
It is critical that users receive notification of comments on tasks they have been assigned, regardless of whether they have commented on the task.
Right now, we are dealing with this limitation by telling each other when we make a comment. This only works for us because we are a tiny office of three people. It would never work for ten or twenty people—I doubt it would even work for five!

MS had announced that they are planning to add a Planner integration to Outlook.
This is not what I want. I want to be able to forward an email to Planner.
This would mean that either:
1. Every Planner bucket has its own email address.
2. Every Planner plan has its own email address.
3. Planner has one email address, that goes to a Planner “inbox”.I don’t see how (1) is practical. How would users keep track of all of these email addresses?
(2) would still require users with many plans to deal with a correspondingly large number of email addresses.
(3) is the model used by OmniFocus (and perhaps by others). As a former longtime OmniFocus user, I can say this works very well.
When a user gets an email that includes a task, they can simply forward it to user@planner.com
Later they can visit the Planner “inbox” and triage the tasks into the appropriate plan and bucket.
If an email contains multiple tasks, the user can forward it multiple times, editing the subject line each time to be the name they wish to assign the task.

Just make it so we can send email to Planner, either to an "Inbox" on Planner (my preference) or to individual plans.
Once in the Inbox the task could be triaged into the appropriate plan.

This a critical feature.
We make do without it, but there are only three of us, and we all work in the same office, so we can lean over and say to each other “I just commented on Task X.”
…which is ridiculous.
If we had one or two more people on the team, we would have to abandon Planner.
