This improvement will include the ability to choose an existing group or team to copy the plan into (or choose to create a new group). You’ll also be able to customize what gets copied over. Attachments can only be copied over into existing groups.

We have fixed this issue – you should now be able to find all of your Plans (whether created in Teams or not) in Planner.

This functionality is essential. End users are getting confused and thinking that the plans they have created have been deleted.
If they create the plan in a Teams channel and then choose to 'Go to Website' and use the web app, they loose track of which plan they are working on because the title only displays the Team name and not the channel or tab name the plan was given.
