    We would like to learn more about how you utilize labels, specifically:

    1) How do you use labels to organize your work?
    2) How many labels do you need?
    3) Would you like an ability to customize colors? If so, how would you use it?
    4) How would you like labels to appear on task cards?
    5) Is there anything else would you like to add in regards to labels?

    This is really needed soon. There's another forum where people are desperately requesting for more labels. If someone from Microsoft is looking at this thread, then please consider this as a high priority item/feature.

    I concur with the other members here on

    1. There should be a way to add more labels and

    3. There should be a way to sort based on labels

    Is any of these being considered?

    Please give it a try and let us know what you think! If there’s something you’d like us to improve upon, please find and vote on that suggestion or create a new one so we can prioritize accordingly.

    Import and Export both are needed for various reasons, as mentioned below. I think that should be on the top of the priority list of features your development team is working on or planning to work on.

    Since there is a very limited number of charts on planner, it would be easier for us to export the plan into excel and build various different types of charts for management reporting.

    I tried this today. The first thing I don't like is that guest access can only be given to people outside my organization, which means I can't give it to anyone who works in my company, though in a different team. That kinda defeats the purpose.

    Ideally, there should be a way for the plan owner to mark any existing member or add a new member as guest irrespective of their organization.

    Secondly, I tried adding my personal email address as guest. Although it shows as guest user in my plan and groups, but I never got an invitation to participate in the plan.

    Now I am as disappointed as I was excited to see the notification of this feature.

    Our teams work part of the overall project and we track our work in planner, whereas the overarching PM team have their own tracking tools. We would like to give them read only access to our plans so that they can continue getting updates from there rather than asking us.

    Thanks for your feedback on Copy plan!

    We’re planning on pursuing the following improvements to copy plan:
    1) Enable users to copy a plan within an existing group
    2) Copy plan in Teams

    Currently we are booked through November working on three BIG initiatives, but should have an update on scheduling soon after.

    In the meantime, we’d love to hear how you’re currently using copy plan and any other improvements we should pursue.

    Hi everyone,

    We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams of all sizes collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.

    The new Microsoft Project has been redesigned. You can see your tasks on a Gantt chart (“Timeline”) view, a Board view (similar to Planner’s), and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users. I encourage you to look at the links below and the attached GIF for a sneak peak.

    With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.

    In my case I am using is to visualize the Infrastructure project flow from Design Engg. -> Transition Engg. -> Operations. We have multiple projects on the plan and I would like to be able to see a chart showing each project and the phase/stage (Design, Transition or Ops) the project is in.
