Hello!
We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.
Today, you can view and edit Planner tasks you’ve been assigned in To-Do’s new Assigned to me list. This is available on to-do.office.com and To-Do’s Windows, Android, and iOS apps.
Here are more details on this integration: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Planner-Blog/Planner-and-To-Do-integration-bringing-you-a-more-cohesive-task/ba-p/553485
Our work in this area is not done, and we’re relying on you to help us decide what’s next, please keep the suggestions coming!
Cheers,

Hi everyone!
A workaround for this is that we’re currently rolling out improvements to the Copy Plan experience.
This improvement will include the ability to choose an existing group or team to copy the plan into. You’ll also be able to customize what gets copied over.
I will share another update when this is available to everyone through Planner’s web experience. Please let me know if this unblocks your scenario.

It would also be helpful for the reps to link to or copy/paste the roadmap information when a suggestion here is added:

Hi everyone,
We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams of all sizes collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.
The new Microsoft Project has been redesigned. You can see your tasks on a Gantt chart (“Timeline”) view, a Board view (similar to Planner’s), and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users. I encourage you to look at the links below and the attached GIF for a sneak peak.
With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.

Thanks everyone…

This limit has been removed – users can now have thousands of tasks assigned to them.
We’re continuing work around performance and actively monitoring how many users hit this limit. So far, we only have seen users with unchecked Flows/automated task assignments hitting this limit.
We are planning on publishing formal documentation around all of our Planner limits once we’ve completed more performance work, but don’t have anything to share at this time.
Cheers,

Any update on this, Microsoft? We're just starting to get into Planner but if we cannot keep an archive (maybe less attachments?) this will be a huge snag and probably force us to choose an alternate product.

Any update on this, Microsoft? I understand that maybe you want to force creation of more cards to make progress more measurable but a limit of 20 for some tasks is just too small.
Perhaps rather than a limitation on checklist items you add due dates to each checklist item so users can track them that way. Either way, this should be something that's an easy fix and can be implemented sooner rather than later.
I would hope that you guys are monitoring these boards for low hanging fruit to keep the masses happy... this would be one of them!

Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!
Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.
This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.
Please continue to share details on the filter and search functionality you’d like to see in Planner!
Thanks,
