We have fixed this issue – you should now be able to find all of your Plans (whether created in Teams or not) in Planner.

Thanks for reaching out and supporting this thread!

    Cheers,
    The Planner Team

This is Awesome! Thank you. It is so nice to have the full functionality of Planner, but also be able to access through Teams.

It makes Planner and Teams both better for my business. Thanks!!!

    Hello!

We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.

Today, you can view and edit Planner tasks you’ve been assigned in To-Do’s new Assigned to me list. This is available on to-do.office.com and To-Do’s Windows, Android, and iOS apps.

Here are more details on this integration: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Planner-Blog/Planner-and-To-Do-integration-bringing-you-a-more-cohesive-task/ba-p/553485

Our work in this area is not done, and we’re relying on you to help us decide what’s next, please keep the suggestions coming!

    Cheers,
    The Planner Team

    Brilliant.

This is the biggest problem I have now. We are using a team with multiple channels, and have a plan for each channel, but we cannot use the full functionality of Planner with these "channel plans." For example, we have to go to Planner to see tasks. Can't see the task list in Teams. But in Planner, we can't see the boards for each channel. We cannot create new tasks for the "channel plans" just for the main group plan. So we bounce back to Teams. Very annoying.

    Either solution works for me
1- expand functionality of the boards in Teams for each "channel plan" so we can see tasks; or
2- make the "channel plan" boards visible in Planner so we can view and add tasks.

    Hi everyone,

We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.

We’ve brought the Planner board view to the new Project! Along with this, you can see your tasks on a Timeline view, and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users.

With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.

Thanks everyone for your patience, I encourage you to check out the new Project, and even start a trial – see the attached GIF

Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!

Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.

This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.

Please continue to share details on the filter and search functionality you’d like to see in Planner!

    Thanks,
    The Planner Team

Thank you for your feedback! We’ve improved the ‘Copy task’ dialogue so you can chose a different plan to send a copy of a task to! We’ll be exploring and expanding the ways in which you and your team can organize work in Planner, and hope this will be a helpful step forward.

Here’s an article to learn more about this feature: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=872349

Let us know what you think below! Thanks again for taking the time to vote for this idea.

    Cheers,

    The Planner Team

    Hello!

We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.

Why To-Do and not Outlook tasks?
We are integrating with To-Do because Outlook tasks is being replaced with the To-Do app. This experience has already shipped for Outlook Web users, and the To-Do team is working on bringing this to Outlook Desktop apps as well.

Our work in this area is not done, and we’re relying on you to help us decide what’s next! This thread has grown to encompass a lot of different ideas and pain points, so we’d love to break it out to help us prioritize and dive deeper into user…

Thank you so much for your patience! The wait is almost over. We are currently working on improvements to the copy plan experience to allow users to create their own templates to meet their organizations scenarios.

I would like to add my voice to the plea for an update. I don't see this on the roadmap at all. It used to be there, but is now gone, and is not listed as something rejected by Microsoft. What is the deal?

There is an indication templates in Teams are in development. Has the Planner template idea been abandoned, or is it part of a larger Teams template function? When can we hope to see this function?
