We’re in the process of finalizing designs for a Planner add-in for Outlook. From the add-in, users will be able to create tasks for Planner without having to leave their inbox. The email subject and body will autofill as the task title and description, respectively, and users will have the ability to set plan, bucket and assignees . We appreciate your feedback and patience and look forward to this first step in what we hope to be a greater integration with Outlook!

We're looking for something we could associate with an automated monitoring program. The monitor detects a problem so it would send an email to a planner email which would then create a task.

Hello!
We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.
Today, you can view and edit Planner tasks you’ve been assigned in To-Do’s new Assigned to me list. This is available on to-do.office.com and To-Do’s Windows, Android, and iOS apps.
Here are more details on this integration: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Planner-Blog/Planner-and-To-Do-integration-bringing-you-a-more-cohesive-task/ba-p/553485
Our work in this area is not done, and we’re relying on you to help us decide what’s next, please keep the suggestions coming!
Cheers,

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your patience. We have updated our Copy Plan experience – please try it out today!
This improvement will include the ability to choose an existing group or team to copy the plan into (or choose to create a new group). You’ll also be able to customize what gets copied over. Attachments can only be copied over into existing groups.
You can learn more here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/planner-blog/expanding-the-copy-plan-and-filtering-features-based-on-your/ba-p/1483491

Thanks for your feedback!
With due date options in the Filter menu, and the ability to group tasks by due date category, we’re hoping that this will help Planner users find and organize upcoming dates and deadlines.
We understand there is still an ask for sorting tasks within an existing grouping, please continue to use this thread to share feedback on this.
Cheers,
The Planner Team

Well ****, sorting a Task List by Due Date would seem to be a pretty critical feature to have. When will this be back?
Is there documentation on this feature anywhere? Do I only get an email the day after it was due? Do I get an email Every day after something was due until it's completed? Is any of that configurable?
