Dear Planner users, Planner is looking to learn your experience with managing “personal tasks”. The feedback you provide would help the product to optimize the features toward your needs, and would benefit other users who use the product like you.
We’d very much appreciate if you could take 7-10 mins to fill out this survey. Thank you!

Thanks for your feedback!
We’d like to add custom columns to Planner, but don’t have anything planned at this time. We’re working on three big initiatives that are landing later this year (stay tuned!) and will likely start work on recurring tasks soon after.
Please continue to vote as we utilize UserVoice heavily to order our product backlog and will adjust regularly if things change!
Thanks again for your patience and feedback,

Hi everyone,
We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.
We’ve brought the Planner board view to the new Project! Along with this, you can see your tasks on a Timeline view, and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users.
With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.

Thanks everyone for your patience, I encourage you to check out the new Project, and even start a trial – see the attached GIF…

wondering about how long you're gonna be "thinking about it" for. Any chance we can get some dates on when this feature will be available, if any? it's really difficult to make business decisions without knowing if a major feature is going to be available and when.

Yet another vote for Gantt/Calendar view for Planner, even Resource capacity planning would be great! i'd like to create plans and assign tasks to people, but i keep having to re-assign and juggle tasks around because i don't have visibility on their daily/weekly/monthly capacity.
It's a shame that it's lacking these key features that you would expect in a project "planning" application. The data is already being captured, i don't imagine implementing a new Layout View would be that much challenging for MS.
Printing a plan is essential for us to adopt Planner.
Printing an individual task, a bucket which should include all tasks within, or printing the whole plan in various formats.
Exporting to pdf would work as well.
