With due date options in the Filter menu, and the ability to group tasks by due date category, we’re hoping that this will help Planner users find and organize upcoming dates and deadlines.
We understand there is still an ask for sorting tasks within an existing grouping, please continue to use this thread to share feedback on this.

I agree. I'm starting to use planner for myself and my project team, and sorting by dates is very important.

Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!
Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.
This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.

Thank you for your patience. We have updated our Copy Plan experience – please try it out today!
This improvement will include the ability to choose an existing group or team to copy the plan into (or choose to create a new group). You’ll also be able to customize what gets copied over. Attachments can only be copied over into existing groups.

I completely agree with this request. Seems like a simple and obvious feature to include. Even a simple integer that the user enters manually would be a big improvement.

It's nice to be able to assign colors, but the implementation is lacking. Rather than the word 'Red' in red text, the entire Tile should display in red. This seems to be a very obvious and simple implementation.

Agree with this. Tasks with both a start date and a due date should display both of these. This should be an extremely quick/simple fix as it's just a matter of displaying data that is already associated with the task.
Rather than just having the name of a label (e.g. "Blue") shown in that particular color, the entire tile should be given that color. Seems like a very simple and obvious implementation
