I would like a "rollup plan" that shows all the tasks from a number of individual plans. That way a certain small team of users can see/update the individual plans, but our leadership team can see the combined plans to see overall workloads/task assignment for individuals that are members of several teams, overall progress, etc.

Thank you for your feedback! We’ve improved the ‘Copy task’ dialogue so you can chose a different plan to send a copy of a task to! We’ll be exploring and expanding the ways in which you and your team can organize work in Planner, and hope this will be a helpful step forward.
Here’s an article to learn more about this feature: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=872349

In reponse to the scenario request from the Admin Planner team on Sept 22, 2017:
We have a number of tasks that were initially created for a small team of users. Over time, a different already established team decided that they would like visibility into the plan. It would be easier and less confusing for that larger team if we could copy tasks to the plan already associated with their group instead of them having to remember another name/group that they need to remember.

It would be nice if a number of the Microsoft Apps worked with Microsoft Flow!

It would be nice to "rollup" individual plans from small teams into an overall plan that leadership can view to get a better idea of overall workloads for team members involved in multiple efforts and overall group/division progress.
