You can now choose up to 25 colored labels per task in Planner and Planner tasks in Tasks in Teams. More labels allows for greater flexibility when organizing tasks. Use labels to flag risks, signal delays, help fine tune task prioritization, clarify accountabilities, or categorize tasks around a theme spanning multiple buckets. Anything you can think of that requires color-coding and tagging tasks, labels can help.
More labels has been a top customer ask and we’re happy to make it available now to all organizations. Try it out in the mobile and web/desktop versions of Planner and Tasks in Teams.

THIS! This interaction is so annoying. The change suggested by A Page would make it so much better. Keyboard shortcuts would be good, too.

Thank you for your feedback!
We’ve just delivered the ability to group Planner tasks by their label.
Cheers,

I've been using Planner all January instead of Trello to manage our agile board (a backlog and a sprint board). Not being able to copy task cards from the backlog to the sprint board is excruciatingly annoying. This one thing makes me want to go back to Trello more than anything.
The character limit on descriptions and comments is also annoying. Why impose this arbitrary limit?

Beyond the iCalendar feed, we will continue to explore our options for adding tasks to Outlook Calendar automatically. We would love to hear more of your thoughts on the following:
-What information from tasks would you like to carry over to Outlook Calendar?
-How many different plans would you like to view on your Outlook Calendar?
-Any specific scenarios or examples of how this would fit into your workflowCheers,

Is this coming in Tasks in Teams? Not being able to mention colleagues in comments is the most show-stopping problem in Planner. We trialled Planner way back in 2017 and this was one of the reasons we chose Trello instead. We're looking at Planner again thanks to the announcement of Tasks in Teams (looks good!) but I am astonished to find this fundamental and crucial feature still missing.
