Hello!
We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.
Today, you can view and edit Planner tasks you’ve been assigned in To-Do’s new Assigned to me list. This is available on to-do.office.com and To-Do’s Windows, Android, and iOS apps.
Here are more details on this integration: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Planner-Blog/Planner-and-To-Do-integration-bringing-you-a-more-cohesive-task/ba-p/553485
Our work in this area is not done, and we’re relying on you to help us decide what’s next, please keep the suggestions coming!
Cheers,

Hello!
Thanks for all the feedback! We’ve just launched push notifications in our latest app update. Users should now see a push notification when a task is assigned to them. You can learn more about this feature here: https://support.office.com/article/get-notifications-about-your-tasks-and-plans-cce223d6-b0ae-43cf-a080-266e2414a859
We’re looking to add more notification types in future updates, so let us know in the comments if there are specific types of notifications you’d like to see!
Cheers,
The Planner Team

Has anyone actually seen this working? They said in the Office 365 Message Center on March 27 "Updated feature: Microsoft Planner now supports guest user access. We will begin rolling this feature out over the next few days, and we anticipate rollout completion by the end of April." I have checked on this multiple time and still get unauthorized user. Does it work for anyone yet? We are approaching the end of April so I am hoping at least someone has good news that it is working for them.

The ability to have a mobile app is great on the phone but where I can really make this benefit is from an enterprise perspective is if there was a native iPad app. We have a large number of iPad Air / iPad Pro users that were very excited about this only to be disappointed that it wasn't built for the tablets. Is this planned?

Hello! We wanted to provide an update to our status below. As we announced in our previous status update, our initial integration with To Do was our first step in a journey of bringing all your Microsoft Task Management services closer together, including Outlook and Planner. Through To Do, you can see your Planner tasks within Outlook on the Web.
However, the continuing feedback on this post makes it clear that there is a desire for more work to be done to improve this experience. We want to make sure this feedback and votes aren’t getting lost by being added to this existing post.
Instead, we’d like to make sure you have a forum to express these continuing pain points / desires, and a way to vote for which ones you’d like us to work on first (and how we should prioritize those asks against the many other great asks…

As an update, we’d like to pursue improvements to the checklist functionality in Planner, but don’t have any near-term plans.
If you’d like to vote on task dependencies/linking/referencing, please head over here: https://planner.uservoice.com/forums/330525/suggestions/13976094
