    With due date options in the Filter menu, and the ability to group tasks by due date category, we’re hoping that this will help Planner users find and organize upcoming dates and deadlines.

    We understand there is still an ask for sorting tasks within an existing grouping, please continue to use this thread to share feedback on this.

    Agree, very important. No need to export if you use Office 365 and Litigation Hold for Outlook also works in Planner, OneNote, etc. but having records of who did what when and including the OneNote file, all emails from Outlook, files from SharePoint, etc. all saved as a zip file to upload to our management system would bring all these apps together. Right now it would be a lot of steps to save all that, if it's even possible...?

    Hello All! The priority feature is complete! Priority is rolled out to production across the Web and Teams. It’s also available in the mobile app an in the beta endpoint for the MS graph API. We’ve also updated the charts view to include a priority chart .

    Please give it a try and let us know what you think! If there’s something you’d like us to improve upon, please find and vote on that suggestion or create a new one so we can prioritize accordingly.

    Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!

    Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.

    This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.

    Please continue to share details on the filter and search functionality you’d like to see in Planner!

    Thanks for everyone’s patience on this item. We’ve completed our first item in this space. We now set Task Activity Email Notifications (Assign and Complete) to Off By Default. Plan/Group owners can turn this setting on/off in the “Edit Plan” dialog.

    We still have additional work planned in this area such as providing more granular controls to which activities will trigger notifications and more control over cases where you’ve been assigned tasks.
