    We’d like to add custom columns to Planner, but don’t have anything planned at this time. We’re working on three big initiatives that are landing later this year (stay tuned!) and will likely start work on recurring tasks soon after.

    Please continue to vote as we utilize UserVoice heavily to order our product backlog and will adjust regularly if things change!

    As an update, since we’ve still been seeing issues around date formatting, so we’re pursuing another fix that should help: If you’re using Planner within Teams, we will default to using the same language/local as Teams.

    If you’re seeing this issue persist outside of Teams and your language/locale is set properly for your Office account, please let us know in the comments below!

    Come on Microsoft, a tiny proportion of the world uses the US date format - (about 4%); it's a non-standard, minority format.

    Please get the fix out as incorrect date formats create real world governance and clinical risks in our industry

    Come on teh US. You are pretty much the only country in teh world to use this date format. Not allowing actual date standard to be supported makes your applications almost unusable due to the risk of mis-interpretation.

    Please remember, when designing these applications, that there are international standards for these kinds of things, that the US is a signatory to. Please abide by them.

    Until this is fixed we are recommending that clients do NOT use Planner because of the problems it causes and the damage it does to Microsoft's reputation when we tell them it can't be fixed - and are pointing them to Trello instead.

    Yes, this drives everyone outside the US nuts. Please, please, recognise that no one except the US uses this illogical date format and provide options for dd/mm/yyyy and yyyy/mm/dd used by the other 7.7 billion people in the world.

    Hi everyone,

    Thank you for your patience. We have updated our Copy Plan experience – please try it out today!

    This improvement will include the ability to choose an existing group or team to copy the plan into (or choose to create a new group). You’ll also be able to customize what gets copied over. Attachments can only be copied over into existing groups.
