totally, i have teams that need to review documents, and I want to enable each reviewer to mark that he/she has completed his/her assignment, but leave the task active/ open for others to work on

would love to have an option for each person to mark their assignment complete, then when the last person completes, the entire task gets marked as 100% complete

Agree with this. I often have multiple assignees on a task, and all assignees must complete the task before it is marked "complete".

As an update, our colleagues in To-Do have delivered the ability to create tasks directly from Outlook.com!

To-Do has rolled out the Tasks Pane for Outlook.com’s Mail & Calendar, and is also the new Tasks for Outlook.com! With Planner’s & To-Do’s integration, we hope that To-Do will become a central hub for all of your personal tasks, and that switching to Planner to collaborate with others is seamless!

Here’s more information on the To-Do’s task experience within Outlook: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/using-microsoft-to-do-with-outlook-com-416865a1-0c4d-4e69-af6f-f98ffce3747c

Use case: I have assigned 5 people to review a document. As PM, I want to see the status of each reviewer. Would be great to see a little status icon (gray = not started, blue = in progress, green with check = completed) in each assignee's profile image on the planner card so I can see who has done what.

We’d love to hear more about the following:
    1. When would you delete or archive a plan?
    2. How long would you like it to be accessible?

Feel free to include any specific scenarios where archiving a plan would be useful.

We appreciate your feedback and look forward to reading through your comments!

    Cheers,
    The Planner Team

My vote is for archiving as defined as making the plan's data, files, and conversations "read-only", removed from the list of active plans, and only the owner can un-archive (meaning open it back up for editing).

I'd like to be able to set the default to Group by Progress when you open a plan.

    Hello!

We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.

Why To-Do and not Outlook tasks?
We are integrating with To-Do because Outlook tasks is being replaced with the To-Do app. This experience has already shipped for Outlook Web users, and the To-Do team is working on bringing this to Outlook Desktop apps as well.

Today, you can view and edit Planner tasks you’ve been assigned in To-Do’s new Assigned to me list. This is available on to-do.office.com and To-Do’s Windows, Android, and iOS apps.

Here are more details on this integration: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Planner-Blog/Planner-and-To-Do-integration-bringing-you-a-more-cohesive-task/ba-p/553485

Our work in this area is not done, and we’re relying on you to help us decide what’s next! This thread has grown to encompass a lot of different ideas and pain points, so we’d love to break it out to help us prioritize and dive deeper into user…

    Hello!

Thank you again for your feedback and patience. We’re happy to announce that the schedule view of tasks is fully implemented and the iCalendar format feed is coming soon! Head over to tasks.office.com to check it out!

Here’s a link to our support article to learn more about viewing your tasks on a calendar: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/view-your-tasks-on-a-calendar-8647d2c9-9bc7-466a-b5b3-74b3596fade2?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

If you’re still interested in an integration with Outlook, please follow along with the conversation on this thread: https://planner.uservoice.com/forums/330525-microsoft-planner-feedback-forum/suggestions/11037114-integration-with-outlook-tasks

We’d love to hear your thoughts on these two new features! Feel free to comment below, send us a smile through the O365 menu (select the question mark icon, click ‘feedback’, then include the word “Planner”), or tweet using #MicrosoftPlanner.

    Cheers,

    Thanks for your feedback!

With due date options in the Filter menu, and the ability to group tasks by due date category, we’re hoping that this will help Planner users find and organize upcoming dates and deadlines.

We understand there is still an ask for sorting tasks within an existing grouping, please continue to use this thread to share feedback on this.

    Cheers,

    The Planner Team

Would be great to be able to customize the notifications such that the PM can select when the assigned resource gets notifications (eg, on due date, 1 day before due, 2 days before due). The email should have a link not only to the task in planner, but also to any document/ file that may be included in the task.

Yes, please! I want to click "Import from Project" and have my .mpp data (task name, duration, due date, dependencies, and resource assignment) sync to my plan in Planner. Bonus if Planner automatically adds users to the group by matching resource names across Project and Planner.
