    Hi everyone,

    Thank you for your patience. We have updated our Copy Plan experience – please try it out today!

    This improvement will include the ability to choose an existing group or team to copy the plan into (or choose to create a new group). You’ll also be able to customize what gets copied over. Attachments can only be copied over into existing groups.

    I want to copy a template bucket. For example, we have a group/plan for Finance & Accounting. I would like a bucket for our month-end checklist of processes and be able to copy that checklist to a new bucket with everything unchecked for the next month. There's no need for a whole new plan, but only copying one task at a time is too much because there are about 75 tasks every month.

    Even just copying a task or a bucket would be nice, as well as copying a plan.

    This one will probably end up being a deal breaker for my engineering company. The biggest scenarios for plans are for client projects, which generally have dozens and dozens of the same tasks for every job. Without a template that would be ludicrous.
    The other scenario is recurring internal projects;like the monthly accounting close or onboarding a newly hired employee. These also would be a non-starter without some sort template, whether it be a plan template or maybe a bucket template.

    As an update, our colleagues in To-Do have delivered the ability to create tasks directly from Outlook.com!

    To-Do has rolled out the Tasks Pane for Outlook.com’s Mail & Calendar, and is also the new Tasks for Outlook.com! With Planner’s & To-Do’s integration, we hope that To-Do will become a central hub for all of your personal tasks, and that switching to Planner to collaborate with others is seamless!

This is just the start and we look forward to adding many additional features to these apps in the coming months.     It's been almost a year now. Teams got released with an app, but still no Planner app. The one thing missing for me from all these is the mobile tasks. I will need to see and update tasks on my phone way more often than I will want to open a document. Is there some sort of plan?

    Hello All! The priority feature is complete! Priority is rolled out to production across the Web and Teams. It’s also available in the mobile app an in the beta endpoint for the MS graph API. We’ve also updated the charts view to include a priority chart .

    Please give it a try and let us know what you think! If there’s something you’d like us to improve upon, please find and vote on that suggestion or create a new one so we can prioritize accordingly.

    Deltek Kona gives every user a personal "space" where the user can create tasks, link documents, etc. That concept seems like it would work here, especially if there is integration between existing Outlook tasks and OneDrive for Business

    Thanks for your feedback. We now set posting Task Activity (Task Assign and Complete) to the Group Conversation to Off By Default. Plan/Group owners can turn this setting on/off in the “Edit Plan” dialog.

    Thank you for your feedback! We’ve improved the ‘Copy task’ dialogue so you can chose a different plan to send a copy of a task to! We’ll be exploring and expanding the ways in which you and your team can organize work in Planner, and hope this will be a helpful step forward.
