Agree with other comments about multiple plans. Indeed, planner as a whole is still far too limited around a single plan per group (unless that has changed recently).
Waiting for Outlook integration anyway since there is no other realistic way to manage the many calendars we use (e.g. multiple people, rooms, Surface Hubs, etc).

!! You can now create a new plan within an existing group!!
Once you open the “New Plan” dialog just select the link to add to an existing group. Your new plan will then be added to that group, leveraging the existing group infrastructure.

We’d love to hear more about the following:
1. When would you delete or archive a plan?
2. How long would you like it to be accessible?Feel free to include any specific scenarios where archiving a plan would be useful.
We appreciate your feedback and look forward to reading through your comments!
Cheers,

As Planner is an extension of groups, there could be significant collateral in the group when a plan is completed.
In order to avoid loosing corporate history, it is important that we have a capability to archive plans/groups.
These archives would not need to be stored in SharePoint/Exchange Online. Indeed, it would probably be much better to have a form that would allow the files along with configuration to be dumped out.
Of course, these would also need to be reloadable too. Though I would expect that this would rarely happen since the most common need would be to access a file rather than the whole thing, that could be done wherever the archive was kept (e.g. Azure blob storage).

Hello! Since this is one of our top asks from users (and has been for quite a while), we wanted to provide a quick update here. As mentioned in our last update, our team has been heads down shipping some recent integrations, such as the Tasks app in teams and Tasks in Docs (both of which have initial versions rolling out now!).
Recurring tasks (and the other top UserVoice asks) are still high on our backlog. I’ll provide updates here as this feature gets closer to being shipped! We also may use this forum to reach out to you, our engaged users, with design questions we have—so stay tuned if you’d like to help us bring you the best version of recurring tasks!
In the meantime, it’s great to see so much active engagement here. We continue to iterate on our initial designs as we get more feedback from users,…

It will be interesting to see a proposed security structure to this though - what defines a "manager"? It may not always be appropriate for someone to see other people's tasks.
It gets worse if you are working on multiple projects or programmes as well.
