    Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!

    Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.

    This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.

    Please continue to share details on the filter and search functionality you’d like to see in Planner!

    Hi everyone,

    We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams of all sizes collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.

    The new Microsoft Project has been redesigned. You can see your tasks on a Gantt chart (“Timeline”) view, a Board view (similar to Planner’s), and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users. I encourage you to look at the links below and the attached GIF for a sneak peak.

    With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.

    This limit has been removed – users can now have thousands of tasks assigned to them.

    We’re continuing work around performance and actively monitoring how many users hit this limit. So far, we only have seen users with unchecked Flows/automated task assignments hitting this limit.

    We are planning on publishing formal documentation around all of our Planner limits once we’ve completed more performance work, but don’t have anything to share at this time.

    Not only that but a way to easily create subtask items. I could create cards, but 75 cards gets messy and start to lose track of what I was working on. I have done this with Flow and Outlook tasks to create a lot of tasks.
    When we do software deployments I will typically have 200 machines to deploy this to. I have a csv file I could import, but typing in every computer name is tedious and needs it's own project. :-) So yes more than 20 checklist items

    Hello!

    We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.

    Why To-Do and not Outlook tasks?
    We are integrating with To-Do because Outlook tasks is being replaced with the To-Do app. This experience has already shipped for Outlook Web users, and the To-Do team is working on bringing this to Outlook Desktop apps as well.

    Today, you can view and edit Planner tasks you’ve been assigned in To-Do’s new Assigned to me list. This is available on to-do.office.com and To-Do’s Windows, Android, and iOS apps.

    Thank you so much for your patience! The wait is almost over. We are currently working on improvements to the copy plan experience to allow users to create their own templates to meet their organizations scenarios.

    Any movement on this? Apparently the comment from Admin was at the end of last May. It's been six months, I have seen the UI change a little bit, but other than that I haven't seen too much movement. Really wanting this feature. Thanks,

    Agreed. Just showing it being late on the chart doesn't really work well. It assumes I will be looking at only the chart to see what is late.

    Hello All! The priority feature is complete! Priority is rolled out to production across the Web and Teams. It’s also available in the mobile app an in the beta endpoint for the MS graph API. We’ve also updated the charts view to include a priority chart .

    Please give it a try and let us know what you think! If there’s something you’d like us to improve upon, please find and vote on that suggestion or create a new one so we can prioritize accordingly.
