      4.Reviewer

    3. Custom

    This is very critical that the permission should be there, otherwise we cannot control the Planner very well manner as there is chance of purposefully or accidentally users may delete the tasks.

    It would be great if we could put an entire team into a plan, but some team members can only add something to a single bucket list and the others have read-only permissions. Is this possible? Here I think very strongly of agencies that work with development and concept and designers. One could create a kind of Scrum process where customer advisors can create tasks and afterwards the work can be carried out by the individual departments. Furthermore, there should then be a bucket list such as verification, here the customer advisor can comment again, upload images .... to…

    Would like for Owner's in a Team, Group or Plan to be able to change user's/member's permissions within Planner so they can:
    1) Contribute
    2) Edit
    3) Read-Only

    Currently, everyone could delete a task. In addition to this, there is neither a tracking of deleted task, nor archived.

    It is a must the owner to be able to set task permissions - read; read/write access, delete, etc.

  8. Ability to Assign Permissions

    Planner has huge potential but as long as any member can reassign tasks to anybody at will its usefulness is limited to small close knit teams. There should be a Plan Admin who has the ability to assign permissions which allow members to do / not do certain things

    It would be very effective and useful if there will be permission by groups. Now everyone who are in a plan can delete tasks, can change task name description and so on.

  10. Create Permissions in Individual Project Buckets

    When using Planner to manage large scale projects, features that allow the assignment of individual or group permissions to each bucket within a project plan are very critical. Project tasks will often contain sensitive attachments but current permission levels only provide the highest level of permissions, allowing all group members to view all project tasks.

    Please create the ability to restrict Members in Planner from being able to modify, re-assign, add, delete or schedule tasks. This feature is a must for Planner to be worthwhile with large Teams.

  12. Permissions levels that block users to delete or conclude tasks

    Any user can conclude, delete, alter due date and do other modifications on any task. Only the task's owner and the group owner should be able to do that.

    We want to let other people (who are part not of the group) be able to add tasks without the view/write permission.

  14. Delegated tasks without permissions

    Allow task cards to have multiple people responsible without giving people full read/write access to the Team or Bucket.
    Right now if you add a responsible person to a task, he/she automatically gets read/write access to the Team and is thus able to see all tasks and activities.
    many times you just need someone to be accountable for one task without full visibility.

  15. Permissions, need to be more granular

    We run a workflow with various professionals performing same task. Permissions assignable at the task level would limit each task access/visibility from other professionals in workflow. Currently to run same workflow for multiple professionals, one Planner plan from template per professional is used for data visibility/security reasons, but reporting is limited and requires work...

  16. Please Add Permission-Based Roles into Planner Boards

    As per the title, please add Permission-Based Roles to Planner boards.

    There is evidence that there is a high-demand and need to manage what users can/cannot do within a Planner board. For example, there is a lot of concern that (1) anyone within the group can delete cards and buckets within a board, and (2) that there is no audit trail to help monitor this type of activity.

    Here’s a collection of different posts asking for (basically) the same feature since late 2015 when Planner rolled out, one of which has nearly 500 votes but has not gotten any official…

  17. I need to set permissions to determinated users

    I need to limit users' editing and removal permissions for the phases, spreadsheets, comments, tasks, etc.

    This is a important feature, can't use this tool without this feature.
