Me and a colleague own a task, however when I added a comment and changed the due date on it, I was the only one receiving an email about it, which is really pointless given I know what changes I made and would rather the other people assigned to it received that email notification... Please can this be changed?

I see it as very important to be able to mention one or more people in the comments.

How can the e-mails be limited to only people assigned to the task?

If we want to be able to confidently use Teams to assign tasks, project leaders should be able to force email notification as a means of confirming that the Team member has been notified. As it stands if someone turns off notification, members assigning the tasks do not know that the assigned person has notifications turned off.

Task reminders only have a date. It would be great to have a time so it reminds people of a task x min before the due time/date like in outlook. Example of application is when the task is to attend a particular event/meeting.

Planner not sending notifications when the state, comments , priority etc. are changed. It only sends notification to any new person that is added, which is useless because everyone else on the task doesn't know what new comments are.

Email that says "You've been assigned a task!" should tell you which Plan and Bucket the task lives in.

The only way to find out is to click the link. Need faster way to scan/understand the nature of the task, in order to decide the urgency.

It would be great if there was a feature that would allow any task activity such as comments to be sent as a Teams notification, but only to the people assigned to the task.

It would be great to get notifications when someone adds a comment to a card. Sometimes there is more than one person working on a card and comments help to trigger actions for other people to contribute

Too many notifications - every update generates a notification, and the setting is all or nothing. Why not allow the user to select what actions to generate email notification?

We should have the option that when a task is completed to have an email sent to all assigned with a simple report. Containing start and end times/dates and the comments listed.

Allow an admin/channel owner to set the 'default' notification settings for the whole team. In my specific situation the team is reluctant to use Teams due to the amount of email notification it sends them.

Comments made on a task should not got to everyone on the team site. Should only go to those following the channel where the planner resides.

When unassigned from a task, have the person unassigned get an email and/or have that trigger available from Power Automate.
