We are currently on asana, but feel that particularly the missing support for Onedrive at asana is a key feature that's missing. So we would like to move over to Microsoft Planner - but there seems to be no import functionality?

I'd love to see import functionality from asana. From a full-featured integration to simple JSON import - everything would be a step forward.

When uploading a file to a Task (to the Groups Library in SharePoint) they are placed in the root-folder.

Would it not be better if they would to be placed in a Folder named after the Bucket to keep them more organized.

Also, if you later move the file to another folder or rename it the "link" from the Tasks should be updated to reflect the change instead of break is it does currently.

We manage 100 projects in SharePoint online and expected that this would be something we could add to those projects. Basically I want to go into a project site and "create a plan" or "create a bucket". The documents should link to a library on that sub site...

I was looking to sync the board with TFS but need a API to do it. Is there a BE API for this or should I reverse engineer the AJAX calls.

Office 365 Group is a group, not a plan. And a Plan is a plan, not a group. User can create as many plan as they want, personally. When they want to share with a group, then the plan can be accessed from the group. It's simple.

Currently, the way that you are connecting Plan and Office 365, you are destroying user experience and make the whole system unsuable.

Please provide a way to import boards in JSON format. We have many Trello boards and need an easy way to move them over.

As Power BI is an excellent tool for businesses to understand their data it would be amazing if the dashboards could feature Planner Charts to report on the progress of the plans without having to create separate tracking and reporting tools. By simply having the ability to add the linked chart would provide a huge value to the business and office 365 integration.

Drag and drop file attachments to Plan file repository. Now, you need to Download and then Upload.

You can create actions in OneNote from meetings and it would be great if this would link out to Planner.

Integrate MS Projects (Desktop) with Planner:
1.) When a task is created in MS Project and assigned, it populates the task owner's task in Planner
2.) When a task owner updates the task in Planner, it updates MS Project schedule as well

Timestamped Comments you can add comments to regular plans, but the ones in Microsoft Teams doesn't suport for adding comments.

Search: It would be nice to be able to search tasks within Microsoft Teams

Templating tasks: Trello allows you to template things like checklists so that common tasks can be created quickly.

Mentions: It would be nice to be able to @Mention other employees within a Task.

In a hybrid scenario, new tasks in Planner should also cached to a user's personal site in SharePoint 2016 On Prem via the Work Management Service.

We use a lot of SharePoint Lists for getting work from across the business. Currently, I can get a new SharePoint List Item to Create a new task in Planner however it would be great if it was more integrated so that the Task gets all the info from SharePoint and changes to the Task also update the SharePoint item

Planner to be able to print tasks or integrate them into Outlook's tasks

Planner needs to be integrated with Outlook. I'd like to be able to drag Outlook items into Planner and have Planner items show up in Outlook. Be nice to coordinate alerts and To-Do items.

We should be able to search for all Office 365 tasks from the sharepoint search engine. Right now we can't crawl planner tasks. It should be defined as a task content class to be able to have specific queries on tasks at least in plannner/SharePoint (normally should include Outlook tasks, ms project, wunderlist)
