Gantt chart view
I want to be able to make tasks dependent on other tasks, and see them in a Gantt chart view.
11,508 votesHi everyone,
We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams of all sizes collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.
The new Microsoft Project has been redesigned. You can see your tasks on a Gantt chart (“Timeline”) view, a Board view (similar to Planner’s), and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users. I encourage you to look at the links below and the attached GIF for a sneak peak.
With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.

It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.
We’ve brought the Planner board view to the new Project! Along with this, you can see your tasks on a Timeline view, and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users.

View completed tasks in Bucket chart
We want to be able to see Completed tasks in the 'Bucket' chart. It makes no sense to hide them!
Also, could the completed tasks not be crossed out, so they're easier to read once completed.
Thanks

Dashboard showing tasks in timeline/calendar view (like a gantt chart).
I would like to see a dashboard showing tasks in chronological order that populates as I add tasks. I would like to see this in a calendar/timeline view.
I would also like to be able to sort tasks within a bucket by chronological or reverse chronological order.

Add a bucket-level chart
Add a chart that shows the distribution of tasks across buckets (and their completion status color coded like in others).

The idea is to get a kanban view, to get a more realistic tracking of tasks.

Can I sort by colored Tabs? If I was labeling them by priority?

Totalling days/hours estimates for each category
For each task, add an estimate for the days or hours for that task. Then for each vertical, provide a sub-total of the days/hours recorded in each task.
Similar to what Trello does already.

Don't show completed tasks in Charts
Why in the bar graph of member don't show completed tasks? If in the circular graph(chart) show all tasks, including completed tasks, why it wasn't done for the bar graph?
My boss would be happy if it could be done!

Comment a comment :-)
The impossibility of modifying any comment added is pretty limiting. It would be nice to have the possibility of modifying any comment, tracking the modification accordingly. Moreover, comment below a specific comment (like in Facebook or Team to make it easy) will enhance its performance terrifically.

Facility to download a Excel report on task details
Facility to download a Excel report on task details in a Plan by assignee, by bucket. Currently no such facility is available hence no offline analysis can be done on the delays in completing the tasks.

Planner Dashboard
I would like to see the status of all current, completed, in progress, and past due tasks by assigned without having to open each individual plan. The bar graphs are great. I would like to see the same thing in a 10,000 foot view for all projects in a single dashboard.

Bucket wise Chart view
Chart view should display bucket wise. So that, we can easily know each bucket status/progress.
