  1. Swimlanes

    Add the ability to create at least 1 additional swimlane within a board.

    Buckets are good, but being able to incorporate an additional "High Priority Swimlane" that spans across the various buckets will make it much easier to identify and track critical work items.

  2. Restore Deleted Buckets

    We need the ability to restore deleted buckets, in a situation where a team member deletes a bucket by mistake it's impossible to recover it, meaning that all the tasks added to that bucket are gone as well. There's not even a warning when you delete a bucket to deter the user from deleting it

  3. Improve Checklist Functionality

    It would be great to see more functionality with the checklist function in MS Planner. For example, being able to assign members to individual checklist items, due dates for each item, hours for each item etc.)

  4. Duplicate / Copy Bucket Lists

    Being able to copy tasks is great, but PLEASE allow us to 1) duplicate / copy bucket lists and 2) Duplicate / copy entire plans (i.e., create a template. PLEASE!!!!!!!

  5. task notification for a deletion

    Users have the ability to delete tasks without notification to the group. When a user deletes a task, it should be included in the notification (where the plan is enabled to send notifications).

  6. Multiple Boards Per Plan

    It'd be really nice to be able to add and manage multiple boards for a given plan. I'm thinking different boards for different work streams, backlog boards, building out boards for different sprints, etc.

    I think this fits better into the 1-to-1 Group-to-Plan setup that you've already built than the multiple plans per group request, though that would be a work around for this kind of thing if you can move tasks between plans.

  8. Custom Fields

    Enable the users to add Custom Fields. Please refer to Trello's "Custom Fields" add on.

    Also, the Custom Fields should be exportable in the excel report which is planned to be developed in the feedback list.

  9. Add The Ability to Paste Images Into Comments Fields

    I have come from Trello which uses images extensively as a visual reference. The is facilitated through a simple ability to paste images into boards. This is possible in Planner via Files/Attach but is very convoluted.

  11. add dates to checklists

    Ascribe a date to the items in a checklist, as at the moment there is only the task timeline that is available. It would help to breakdown the expectations associated with a task especially if it would be pointless to spread it across multiple cards.

  12. Print sorted lists of Tasks.

    Would like to be able to print lists of tasks sorted in different ways: print a list of all Tasks in a Bucket or print a list of a member's Tasks. Sharepoint allows exporting tasks lists to Excel which I used to do to print lists to take to a site visit.

  13. Create synced tasks across planners

    The ability to create a task in several planners and have it sync across them would be very useful. This way the users can have individual planners with all their tasks, created only for that planner or linked from project planners or department planners.

    Cross team tasks, recurring tasks, tasks with multiple asignees etc can then easily be added to "views" specialized for specific things.

  14. Allow re-ordering of tasks and items in checklists

    Drag and drop or some other method of changing order of tasks and items in checklists

    I like to think tasks higher in a list need to be done first, Planner doesn't have any method for prioritizing so at least let us manually move things around so they make sense, more generally allow tasks to be linked so we can optionally make some tasks dependent on other tasks, that order can be displayed either as an ordered list or better if the dependencies were visually apparent using some other means.

  16. Set sort order of buckets

    We use buckets to denote priority (highest, high low) of tasks. When tasks are grouped by "Progress", I have to drag and drop to get tasks of the highest priority first. Would love to have default sort options like "sort by bucket" with this view. The sort order could either be set by the left-to-right order of buckets within the view "group by buckets", or could be set in a new dialog.

  17. Change task status when moved to specific column

    Would be great if buckets could be linked to a particular status and would automatically update tasks statuses as they are moved from bucket to bucket.

    For example:

    Bucket : Status

    ToDo : Not Started
    WIP : In Progress
    Blocked : In Progress
    Done : Complete

    So as a task moves from ToDo -> WIP -> Blocked -> WIP -> Done the status will automatically update from Not Started -> In Progress -> Complete.

  19. Add additional Agile statuses of 'Backlog' and 'On hold' to the Progress view to make it a KanBan

    Need to add additional statuses to create a KanBan view. The names don't have to be the same as this, but there needs to be something like Backlog, for unprioritised items that have not been reviewed, and On Hold or similar for those tasks that cannot be completed at the moment.

  20. Support individual card colors in Board view to allow visual organization of different types of work.

    I recognize that the current label system has the advantage of assigning multiple colored labels to a card, but the visual indicator is too small to be useful in a busy board view. If I use color to indicate types of work flowing through the "Plan", it would be useful to scan colored cards and get a sense for what types of work were in process. It seems most online Kanban boards support this.
