Provide a way to copy an existing plan
We often have projects that follow the same structure. It would be useful to be able to copy existing plans (including their tasks) so that we could re-use the same list of tasks for a different project.

Please add a @mention functionality to checklist and comments section in Planner
When I am adding checklist or comments on Planner Tasks then I want to be able to mention a specific employee who the task, or item in checklist is assigned. This way I want the person to be notified.

Support markdown notation for description fields
It would be great if .md (Markdown) notation, like in https://msdn.microsoft.com/Library/vs/alm/overview/reference/markdown-guidance, would be supported for text description fields for tasks, plans, buckets and other objects

Folder for attachments
Currently attached files just drop into the overall SharePoint drive on the team folder. We would like for them to be more organized within an Attachment Folder, or the ability to control where they go within the team SharePoint.

Remove 1500 Tasks Created Per User Limit
Remove the limit of a single user only being able to create 1500 tasks. When using an API to create tasks this will quickly be exceeded. There should be no limit.

TASK Delete - It should not be possible for anyone to delete a task. Task deletion should be restricted to the creator of the task or admin
TASK Delete - It should not be possible for anyone to delete a task. Task deletion should be restricted to the creator of the task or administrator of the plan. This has cost us a lot of time and effort and effectively renders what is an excellent system useless for managing task orientated projects with big groups of users because we have no clue who deleted a task or why or when.

Provide an option for a printable version of MS Planner
Provide an option for a printable version of MS Planner, ether of the planner hub of a particular task. Also, a printable report. Most administrators want a to see a physical report of progress. If there is a way to print plans, tasks, and charts to present to administrators.

Add auditing to the tasks so that there's an audit trail of all changes made and who made the change
Add auditing to the tasks so that there's an audit trail of all changes made and who made the change. This would help show exactly who made what changes and when (time/date stamp on each audit entry) so that you can clearly understand the history of the task and who was involved and when.

Mass Delete of Completed Tasks but Keep Plan
It would be nice to be able to mass delete all completed Tasks within a Plan. As Tasks are checked off, and new Tasks added to the Plan, overtime the Completed Tasks build up. I'm still using the Plan, but want to clear out the Completed Tasks. Just like in Google Keep, you can mass delete all completed items.

Drag&Drop for adding file attachments to tasks
When opening a task, please enable drag and drop files from Windows Explorer to tasks.
Now need to click "Attach"->File->browse for file.
Drag&drop for adding attachments straight from Windows Explorer works in Redmine.
It should work in Planner the more, as obviously both are MS products.

Drag and Drop tasks between different plans
I have different plans for different people on my team, Sometimes tasks need to be moved to someone else. it would be nice to be able to drag a card from the board on one plan and drop it on an entirely different plan in the left-hand column.

Hyperlinks in Comments
Typing a URL in a comment does not render the URL as a hyperlink when the comment is saved. It would be much more user-friendly to render these as hyperlinks.

Voting on task importance
We use planner to track bug fixes and it would be nice if users could up vote a card to show us it is a more important bug fix. Kind of like the voting we use in this forum :)

Include time tracking/time sheets per task
It is very useful to track expected time to be spent per task versus real time spent.

Tasks for multiple users: Tracking of individual completion AND overall Task completion for tasks assigned to multiple users.
When I assign a task to multiple users with the current functionality the task shows as completed as soon as the first person completes the task (in case I assign an identical task to more than one person) or completes their part of the task. This then moves the task to completed for all assignees and they neither see it in their "To dos" not do they get reminders that they have an open task to complete. In simple terms the current functionality is more or less useless.

COLOR CODE THE BUCKETS! please.
Color coding the buckets in Planner will really help my visual eye keep my various projects organized. If I really had it together, I'd use the same color to track e-mail to-do's and physical analog folders. Let there be color!

Comment Notifications
If someone adds a comment to a task, the person who created the task and anyone assigned to the task should receive an email notification in their inbox in the same way a person who is assigned a task receives an email notification.

Completely Replace Outlook Tasks with Planner.
Outlook tasks are outdated and have tons of limitations. REPLACE Tasks with Planner. Include Planner as part of all O365 plans offering Exchange Online. People who use Outlook with Exchange Online should get the Planner Version of Tasks. This to my mind would kill all competition in the mail client + task management areas across all devices.

Ability to paste a screenshot directly from clipboard
By pasting Cnrl + V should automatically upload the screenshot as a file to a dedicated folder whithin the Office group and link it to the task within Planner
