Fix tasks.office.com always taking me to the en-US version when I have set everything possible to be en-AU in office 365

I'm in Australia. The only way to get our date format is for me to then change the URL to
It's really annoying when links to tasks like
then direct me to the US version of Planner. Could I set this as a preference somewhere, or could you just infer it from our Office 365 tenancy or associated SharePoint sites?
