Allow Planner plans to be created in a Private Teams Channel
When we create a Private Channel in Teams, creating a Planner is not an option in the channel tab. This would be helpful: to allow this subgroup of people to work together on a confidential activity within a team.

This is seriously frustrating. I want to use Planner and convince my client how great it is and how it will fit their needs, but then can't use it for private groups in Teams. I can create a Private planner board from the Planner Hub and invite who I want to invite, but I can't add it to a Private Team. This makes no sense and creates extra Groups to have to manage - which is already difficult to do even with governance.
We have groups using Asana and Basecamp when they could be using Planner inside of private MS Teams channels. Please allow this capability ASAP!

My project has decided to use MS Teams but it hardly seems worth it if you cannot have a Planner feature in a private channel for separate streams of work.

Can't understand why this doesn't exist. This is a must-have for managers who'd like to track progress individually without exposing information to others.

private channels do require planner also. to keep what they are doing with punch lists.

At the very least, allow people to add the compact planner tab to an existing more public plan. its annoying that I have to use the website url and I get all the browser chrome.

This feature has to be added to Teams. We use Teams to help manage projects with external clients. We use a Private channel to house internal documents. We'd also like to add a Planner to the private channel for our own software config tasks.

Absolute show stopper especially in a partnership environment. We spin up a plan execute and dispose the entire channel when completed and accepted. Sad to see this feature not available in secure channels.
