Planner integration with Azure DevOps
The Planner's interface it's great, very useful and intuitive. If is possible to create a some integration with Azure DevOps to use Planner like a input tool I really sure that Planner usage get focus of development teams very fast. The Azure DevOps is a great tool for life-cycle development but his interface is so complex and the Planner can be the bridge between the Azure ecosystem and teams with different kind of skills for a simple use to planning projects and tasks.

I would love to see this. this will help to track unplanned and chores work outside the sprint

I would be happy if there was any project tool to roll planner tasks up into. The current format is great for tasks or micro-projects but it becomes nearly impossible to track numerous tasks toward a common project.

This would be amazing if you could link task items, notes and comments to Azure Devops tasks.

Hmm .. I think this is a really cool idea. I think many will like it and will be useful if it is implemented. I rarely use azure precisely because of this disadvantage. I am sure that if this feature is added in a new update, then the popularity of azure will grow dramatically. At the moment, I use azure so rarely that in 90% of cases I simply cannot find the login and password to enter. Every time I purchase a new account from https://bestaccounts.net/product/azure-accounts/ for a better experience. I hope your idea will come true!

Agree, I would love the full functionality of azure boards need to commit admin resources to manage azure boards as it just stress some stuff. planner is a better interface for multidisciplinary team. Could the functionality be brought together

I love this conceptually. The question is how it would be organized in the Planner environment. Would the plan be the same as the DevOps project name? Currently, Teams/Planner/Sharepoint all share common organization, so adding the DevOps in is the question. What would work best?

Planner has some great integration points too that AzureDevOps does not offer. An example includes have the planner schedule integrated with an Outlook calendar. Have them work together would allow for a bridge to that functionality.

I completely agree with the above comment from Bruno. My organization is wanting to track Dev work efforts, and integrate it with the rest of the company's pool of Planner Tasks. This allows higher-ups to run reports on who is doing what and when.
