Link one planner task to multiple planner boards
It would be nice to be able to link one planner task item to multiple team planners. For example, let's say there is a small subteam, Subteam A, who uses planner board A, and this subteam is part of two larger teams, Team 1 and Team 2. Team 1 and Team 2 both want to be able to assign tasks to Subteam A, and Subteam A wants to be able to view all their tasks (which include the tasks they create for themselves in addition to the tasks assigned by Teams 1 and 2) in one place (planner board A). Team 1 and Team 2 don’t want to have to go to Subteam A’s planner board to assign tasks to Subteam A, because they want the tasks reflected in their boards as well (because the tasks are part of their higher level project plan). Similarly, Subteam A doesn’t want to have to switch between Team 1 and Team 2’s projects to update or edit tasks assigned to them by those teams. I hope my ask is clear – if not, please let me know and I’ll try to clarify.

It will be a completely mind blowing feature ! I hope it will come soon.
This kind of upgrade will make planner a suitable option for managing large project over 50 people. Now it's impossible to be efficient with a large team with Teams. All sub teams created their own team, and it needs to MANUALLY replicate task from one team to an other one. A very time consuming work. In Japan, they called this MUDA.
Absolutely necessary, unless you have 1 board for the whole organization, it gets to messy using planner when multiple boards with shared resources need to duplicate tasks on different boards.

I know you can create a hyperlink to another task, but this only works if you are also a member of that plan as well and it doesn't update status or anything else. Would be great to have this!!
Having the ability to link a task to multiple boards (and hopefully lists soon) would be a game changer. If this one tasks is associated with multiple projects and can be addressed once would save time and cut costs. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Yes, 100% agree
Even if it is a personal planner, tasks assigned to a team planner should "link" to the assigned persons personal (private) planner.
