Master Planner Function
If I’m managing multiple projects with multiple staff that I’m responsible for assigned to the different tasks (and aren’t necessarily assigned to me), I have no way of seeing how all these tasks relate to each other, or how everyone's workload is being distributed (since each project has its own Planner). E.g. – too many tasks due on the same day? Too many tasks assigned to a single person? Etc. I know I can do this for each individual Planner, but I can’t do this for all planners.
So what about creating a "Master Planner" function?
The idea is to allow you to pull in multiple Planners into a Master Planner page, but with all the functionality of a single Planner. This would allow you to sort tasks from all different Planners. E.g. sort by due date.
Now you can see where all your tasks fall from the multiple different projects that you are working on. This allows you to re-prioritize the tasks. E.g. too many tasks due on the same day.
By extension, you would still want to be able to modify the tasks from the Master Planner page. E.g. (again) too many tasks due on the same day – so open up the tasks from that specific day from within the Master Planner page and change the due date, rather than go back to each individual Planner to make the change, and then come back to the Master Planner Function.
You would also want to be able to sort tasks by “Assigned To” from within the Master Planner page. E.g. way too many tasks assigned to one person that are all due on the same day – meaning that person is overloaded; need to re-prioritize.
