Add/Remove Labels, Sort Labels, More Label Colors
To summarize these requests, we’d like the following:
1) The ability to add and remove labels.
2) When the “Group by Labels” option is selected, the ability to change the order of the columns (e.g., “Move right” and “Move left” similar to the “Group by Bucket” column)
3) In the Task view, the ability to change the order of the label tabs.
4) The ability to change the color of the labels and add more colors.

Make it like Trello, can display colours and names , add labels , lots of colours. Please colour tasks with label colour to make it visual.

Labels from tasks inside a bucket shall be propagated to the Bucket itself.
This feature is critical for Planner Hub on Android! Without Planner Hub is only of very limited usability

I would like to have 3 groups of labels, clearly distinguished by type and colour for timeline, criticality and a free defineable category.

To the Planner Team: I suggest you sum the total number of votes in the different ideas posted. My guess is that the idea of "handling" labels is one of the most wanted...

Lets not make this too complicated and end up waiting until 2020. Just having more labels would be a huge productivity boost. Personally, currently using the labels to filter by plant area / external resource / business priority / Risk factor

You set labels yourself, it is unlimited, you can display just labels or labels & names...6, not agile, is a joke !

yes clearly this would be great. as labels are visual mostly on the task, it can really differ from one person to another the way we interpret and use colors
