We as a business require the ability to have planner templates. Whenever we get a new client there is a set process to follow, so within Microsoft Teams it makes sense to create a Microsoft Planner based on a template for that specific type of client rather than having to manually create the same plan over and over and over.
TaskWorld has the ability to duplicate planners and tasks which means that you can create templates, Microsoft Planner should have the same ability.

Planner does offer this capability now, but would like to also copy the assigned person to tasks, and also the ability to set the start date on all tasks to the current date/time
urgently needed to scale cooperation in according to standards
To have a planer template is a very helpful thing in customer projects, as you will have always the same main tasks in every project. Hope, it will come soon.....
This seems self evident as a necessary component of this software. To compete with other softwares like Trello or Asana, you need to be able to have replicable processes/plans.
Need to have a MS Teams template include a MS Planner template. Every project team that is created needs to have the same 40+ tasks already created as part of the start of a new project. It's too much work to copy over every single task from a former planner task list when setting up the team's new task list. Would be easier if we could include different channels with their own task list as a part of the copy from a Teams Template that we create.
the ability to duplicate planners within Teams would be good. Currently copying all tasks to a new plan in teams is too much work when you have 6 buckets and 38 tasks to be copied to 26 different channels.

As we have multiple projects with Teams which have common structure and we constantly create new Teams for new projects which always include same Planner content, it would be great to have a Planner template that goes with a new Team.
This would be great as all the other task applications I see have this functionality. Will this be in a future update and if so, when should should I look for it to be available?
Agree with Daniel. We want to use a template for most our our plans.
