Wasted space - Smaller cards when assigned to people
There is too much wasted space on the page (compared to Trello). If I assign a task to a person, I get almost half the amount of cards onto the screen. This makes me use planner less efficiently as I don't assign the cards...
Other's have already mentioned that the buckets are too wide and too much space between them.
This really needs to be addressed. The large size of the task cards makes it almost unusable. There are other similar feedback comments in this forum that go back nearly 5 years!
I agree. WAY too much white space. Make the cards smaller or an option to make them small. If you have hundreds of tasks (I do) how is this even useable? Asana was nearly OK, but Planner is a Pain.
Big drawback to great functionality. Need to change the icon to the same size and location as the due date, importance, etc. Then upon hovering over the icon, can display the full name. This would go a LONG way in keeping boards clean!
Asignee name is too big.
The avatar only should be enough to identify the assigne, like Trello (and other tools) does.
The avatar should be located where the "..." menu is.
And the menu should be accessible with a right click.
I would also like to see more tasks on the page at a time. Even to the extent of having a table view similar to a list of tasks in Excel, Outlook, etc.
Yes. For me it's really important. There should be as much as possible tasks on the single screen (out of sight - out of mind).
>> Buttons for creating new tasks are too big.
>> For simple task (with only title and assignee) it will be great to shrink the size of single item. (move assignee up to fill blank space).
There is just too much wasted space making it difficult to move the cards around and organize easily. Too much scrolling! I prefer trello's simple layout for this reason. Just put the card title there and that is it!
