Tasks for multiple users: Tracking of individual completion AND overall Task completion for tasks assigned to multiple users.
When I assign a task to multiple users with the current functionality the task shows as completed as soon as the first person completes the task (in case I assign an identical task to more than one person) or completes their part of the task. This then moves the task to completed for all assignees and they neither see it in their "To dos" not do they get reminders that they have an open task to complete. In simple terms the current functionality is more or less useless.

Adding to this, If there could be a lead assignee for the task ie. the person who created it, and then individual assignees could be placed against checklist items. When an individual has completed their item, they can check it off and it removes them from the task if there are no more checklist items for them. So the lead/creator is the one that completes the task in the end.

Assigning one card to several people, for each to do, would be awesome - for example everyone needs to read the new expenses policy, and you need to keep track of who hasn't noted this is done.

As a student trying to keep on top of things this use case is essential! I would add the need for users to move tasks assigned to them individually to different due dates, because some tasks like when homework is due are based on each user's particular timetable

I like the option of multiple assignees but not that the task stays in my tasklist until all have completed it. I would like the task removed from my individual tasklist once I have completed my portion of the task. In other words, once I have checked my name off the checklist, I would like the task removed from my "to do" tasklist. It should remain in the lists of the others who have not yet completed their portion.

This feature would be extremely helpful for our organization. We often have singular documents that require review by multiple users. Tracking it through Planner currently requires creating individual tasks for each user, rather than being able to assign one task to multiple users.

There should be a functionality to choose if you want the task to be completed by one person (let's say whoever does it first) or to mark completed only after everyone assigned to it has completed. This is a must, in a team it's not rare that you assign same task to multiple people and you want all to complete but don't want to create a task for each individual.

totally, i have teams that need to review documents, and I want to enable each reviewer to mark that he/she has completed his/her assignment, but leave the task active/ open for others to work on
