Custom Fields

Enable the users to add Custom Fields. Please refer to Trello's "Custom Fields" add on.

Also, the Custom Fields should be exportable in the excel report which is planned to be developed in the feedback list.

@Microsoft, please develop this functionality asap as it has more than 4.000 votes!

Voting for this as well. User Defined Fields or Custom fields are invaluable to any planning tool so that the user can enter information that's relevant to their use case. Some super useful fields when planning work are: business value, size, duration, effort, complexity, etc. Then there are the more specific use-cases that can be virtually anything depending on the activity being coordinated. Please add UDF's asap.

Useful for adding a monetary value to tasks when being used for workflow, as this then makes it easy to put a number on WIP.

Want the ability to add customized fields for status. "In Progress" is not sufficient to capture the status of development completed, in testing, etc.

Look at Asana.com as well. Great custom fields to manipulate this for different tasks and workflows
